Description

Please do not reserve this room unless you have DSS approval to use the adaptive/assistive technology suites. If you do not have DSS approval to use this room, you will not be able to open the door with your GWorld. Library staff can not open the door for you. 

To use the labs, you must receive approval from Disability Support Services (DSS), usually at the time of your DSS registration. However, you may contact DSS at any time during your career at GW to request access to Gelman 308 and 309. If you do not have DSS approval to use this room, your GWorld card will not allow access to this room, even with a room registration.

    • HP Laser Printer
    • CCTV (closed-circuit television for document enlargement)
  • Software:
    • JAWS Professional (screen reader)
    • ZoomText (screen magnifier/reader)
    • Kurzweil 1000 (scans/converts paper text to digital text)
    • Kurzweil 3000 (reading/writing program.  Reads/scans documents and reads web content)
    • Dragon NaturallySpeaking (voice dictation software)
